5 Healthy Breakfast ideas

Let’s face it, most people in the mornings will roll out of bed, grab a quick shower and then eat something quick and easy before heading off to work. I wonder how many of those people will get the all to common mid-morning crash… I’m guessing quite a few.

A healthy, balanced breakfast will:

  • Give you energy until your next meal (lunch for most of us)
  • Prevent a mid-morning crash making you crave sugar
  • Make your mornings a whole lot more productive

Unfortunately, the majority of so called “Breakfast foods” are made up of simple carbs which give you a short term energy rush and then leave you feeling weak and hungry. However, a more balanced meal incorporating fats and protein will leave you feeling fuller for longer and get you through till lunch without having to reach for the cakes, donuts or other sugary (and tasty) items.

So here are a 5 healthy, balanced Breakfast ideas for you to try out just click on the headings and get cooking!
